Renovations

Managed to drag my sorry backside into the office for five hours solid work today, although still feeling v rough.

I've photographed this old doorway before, when it was boarded up, but they're renovating the building now and they've pulled down the boarding.

What grabbed my attention, as I wandered past, was the realisation that they are using new blocks to fill the space in instead of using old weathered stone bricks.

Interesting contrasts in the building materials...
