Cantick Head Lighthouse

Built in the 1850's on a stretch of coastline known as Hells Gate and at times it's easy to see why. In front of the lighthouse the sea rises from 65m to 28m and when the tide is running against the wind the water is frightening with its ferocity.

Taken by the light of the full moon.
