Crisis averted

We had a bit of a crisis today. This dog has had a large lump on his neck for the past couple of weeks (my niece - the owner - chose not to do anything about it), and today he seemed very weak, ill, behaving strangely. So of course, having never owned a dog before, my family and I went crazy worrying about him, panicking like hell! Fortunately, a trip to the vet solved our problems; it seems to be a harmless inflamation and we now have the medicine to treat it.

"Phew" is what I say.
