Dancing Seagulls

A pleasant start to the day, dry, no wind and blue sky! When I was putting the washing out, I spotted these 2 seagulls walking on our roof. They were playing about for a couple of minutes, then flew off when they spotted me with the camera.

The blue sky disappeared pretty soon but it was nice enough for me to spend a couple of hours outdoors. I moved a few more delicate plants into the greenhouse, having wrapped them in bubblewrap first. I potted on some marigolds which will make for some early flowers if the slugs don't eat them.

I also put the prunings from the twisted hazel into the green bin and managed to sit outdoors with a coffee for 5 minutes.

It got cold quite quickly so I went indoors at 1.30pm, it started raining an hour later and it is still raining early evening.
