Somewhere over the rainbow

lies my home town. Yes early today I crossed by the Tarbert to Portavadie ferry to do a wee job near Kilfinan on the Cowal peninsula. It's good to see familiar scenery from a different angle.

I finished the job early and arrived at the slipway for the ferry home only to find it had disappeared to Arran and wouldn't be back for 4 hours. Reminder to self to check the ferry times next time. Just as well it is a peninsula so I could drive home and it only took 2 hours
