Guildford

Busy day in Guildford while H was at a meeting. The floods still very much in evidence. This is taken from Debenham’s balcony looking along the river Wey towards St Nicholas Church and the Town Bridge. Also the site of the original ford which gave Guildford its name, dating back to AD500. The water is still over the road in places. But it didn’t rain today.
