Smart Phone

New phone arrived today. Smart.

What I though was really smart too was the delivery system. None of this hanging around all day waiting for the courier to arrive, the package was tracked in the delivery van live as it made its way here and I could see exactly how far the package was away overlaid on a map live on my phone screen, with a text message arriving an hour before giving a fairly precise time for offload. Smart.

Pretty smart too, to also see a few of my photos used in the local paper for an article on the weekend's surge tide down at the local harbour. Front page and everything.

Less smart though is Samantha still being off work, but much improved, and now having lassoed Euan in with the lurgy and he's had a day stuck under a duvet feeling sorry for himself.

Was really nice to see some sunshine outdoors today and to feel that bit more optimistic that the shitty weather and all the misery it brought's maybe behind us. Can't wait to be moaning about how cold and frosty it is instead of how wet and wet and windy it is.
