Just Landed

I have blipped the Dynamic Earth building in Holyrood Road several times as a view from my office window but this is the first time I have taken a picture at night from the pathway at the back of the Parliament building.

I was walking the longer way back to my flat because I wanted to take a picture of the gates to Holyrood Palace at night. The shot was fine but when I turned round I realised that the image of Dynamic Earth , lit from inside against a black sky and looming behind the Parliament, was much more interesting.

Eventually I found an even better shot with the shapes of the bare trees visible in front of this extraordinary building that, this evening at least , looked like a pupa or a spaceship that had just landed.
