Open All Hours in #Leeds

In Leeds this evening for a Board Meeting and noticed what is actually a fairly new shop in Boar Lane.

Mr Arkwright’s Tool Emporium is a quirky store that "makes what can be a fairly uninspiring landscape of metal and cellophane, a more friendly prospect."

The Arkwright handle is a nod back to the BBC classic, ‘Open All Hours’.

A picture of these comedy legends adorns the wall behind the counter and near the entrance there’s even a nod to the classic ‘four candles-fork handles’ ‘Two Ronnies’ sketch, complete with these implements – incorrectly labelled of course.
