Me and my shadow

On the way out into the kitchen to water this plant, I just put it down for a moment and noticed the shadow on the wooden floor.

I thought I would take a picture in case nothing else came up... and it didn't... other inspiration failed me.

I have forgotten what a working week is like... I it doesn't leave me in a perky creative mood...

I did nip to the opticians after work to pick up my replacement contact lens (it took 12 days from ordering it - well if I must break a lens over Christmas!)
So rather lighter of wallet than I needed to be after the seasonal expenses, I can at least see without glasses again! (I kept forgetting to clean the glasses - blurry vision - and there are a lot of activities that fog up the lenses. I also got into the shower with them on the other day!)
