Everything was wet today, so I had my pick of outdoor subject matter. It rained nonstop, and it is still coming down after dinner. Here's a lonely fire hydrant overlooking a flooded field out in Skagit County, just a few minutes from town. Around here, people welcome the rain because of our stunning greenery. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest, and I appreciate and enjoy our rainy days.
