10 Year Wedding Anniversary Mexican Vacation

So much fun today, taking a day trip into Playa. As smart as we think we are, we got 'had' on 2 purchases today. The first was a necklace we bought for our son after the guy claimed to be our waiter at one of our hotel restaurants last night. He sounded so convincing and had a great sob story to go with his pitch. It wasn't until we were walking away and heard the same line being used on us that we realized they knew where we were staying because of the all-inclusive wristbands we had on our wrists. Duh! We laughed about that.

The second purchase was a bottle of tequila (pictured) with a photo of us on the front. The waiter made us feel special, like he wanted our picture (and ours only ) for his restaurant wall. He too had a great story to go with and later, Isaac admits that he made his decision to purchase based on the guy's great entrepreneurial spirit. 15 min later, he came back to our table with two bottles of tequila, both with a different picture of us printed as the label. He told us he made these bottles especially for us. We both laughed, because neither of us drink tequila, but somehow, we both felt inclined to buy an incredibly overpriced bottle of cheap liquor we will never drink.

Got caught in a spectacular 15 min downpour and got to take pictures with a cute little yellow and grey monkey on my head. What a fun day.
