Galette des rois
It's the Epiphany today, which means eating galette des rois, or "cake of the kings" all day. I made ours last night, using a whole hazelnut since I don't have a traditional fève, and we started it for breakfast (because why not?). One of my housemates got the hazelnut and was queen for the day. I've been queen for the past three years so I feel somewhat usurped, haha.
The lab also reopened, so it was back to work, too. Although given that I had to go in four times a week over the holidays, this wasn't much of a hardship.
