LOWBURN COTTAGE

Situated in the precinct of the old Cromwell town. Part (very little) which has been preserved. My father managed the Cromwell Hotel in the 1960's and I remember staying with them then. They had to come to Oamaru to meet me off the train from Christchurch, and as we came up the Waitaki Valley they were in the process of building the Benmore Earth Dam. I had one child then and was ecpecting my second - a long time ago.
