The View Over Borovets

Here's the view from the bumpy cable cart ride to the top of the mountain.

Borovets is Bulgarian for Pine tree, we heard an amazing fact that around 1/3 of the worlds pine trees are here.

So far I haven't taken my camera onto the ski slopes, but I may tomorrow to capture some action shots and amazing views. We've had alot of fun in this beautiful, adrenaline filled and extremely tacky place, the holiday has been

- All you can eat breakfast and dinner buffet (watch out vegetarians, even the veggi dishes seem to contain some surprise meat in!).
- Ski lifts, cable carts, ski lifts and ski lifts, some bumpy some smooth.
- Skiing everyday, in the morning, afternoon and once at night.
- My legs are black and blue!
- Simone learnt to butter on her snowboard.
- She also has whiplash.
- After a day or two I have learnt to do fast parallel turns and can handle a red run, hurrah!
- Crystal clear sunny days
- Swimming everyday.
- Hot tubs, saunas and steam rooms.
- Cocktails containing gin, vodka, rum and calure.
- Lots of boiled eggs
- Hours of cheesy music on the radio, especially Peter Andre and east 17 mixed in with very Bulgarian songs.
- Drawing and reading.

Not a bad start to the year :)
