Through the Looking Glass

The photo was taken a few days before Christmas 2013. It was taken from the inside of an 18th century folly called The Bath House, which is owned by The Landmark Trust. My fiancee and myself were lucky enough to be staying in the folly for the Christmas period. It was my fiancee who took this photo. She only picked up a camera for serious photos about a year ago. Within that year she has displayed a natural affinity towards light. This photo is one of a range she has taken to capture that light. I think she caught more than just the light in this photo though. I think she captured time too.
