Rescue!

This is a search and rescue Sea King, from RAF Valley, on Anglesey (until recently famous for being the base of Prince William).

It appeared to be searching up and down the River Dee Estuary, no way of knowing if it was training, or in a real situation, but due to the very low height (less than 100ft) and the amount of time spent I can only hope that it was training.

Great job done by these people!

Update: the search was for someone who may have gone into the River - shoes found on the River bank along with a note. Following the three hour search nothing found then called off at dark to resume tomorrow morning.
