Ran out of time…...

…..so this is my contribution for the day.

I sat down at the computer around 10am this morning to work on a new powerpoint presentation for work, a project which I thought would only need 2-3 hours of my time. Then the plan was to capture a late afternoon/sunset view near to home. However, before I new it 6½ hours had flown by without a break or lunch and it is now completely dark. So this quick (2 minute) image will have to do as I'm taking my niece & nephew out for dinner and a film and need to get out quickly.

It's from a bunch of flowers I bought recently as a table decoration. Now flowers aren't really 'my thing' (never photographed one before) but it stood out as something I could quickly try and capture for my blip image. The question is, what is it? A thistle? As a Scot I've never seen one like this before.
