Cab-o-clock?

NY subway, 1 in the morning. It's said that, at some point after having lived long enough in NYC, you call midnight 'cab-o'clock' and no longer take (and wait for) subways at this hour. Apparently, we've not yet passed the 'real New Yorker' test, because here we are. Waiting.
