Doha Days

I took this blip as I travelled between sites for a meeting this morning. My driver, knowing that I take photographs all the time, wanted me to blip his newspaper centre spread of Rafael Nadal proudly holding the Qatar Tennis Open Trophy that he won here earlier this week. Through the windscreen the Qatar Foundation Education City is rising from the dunes in the most dramatic fashion. I have never seen so much stunning archtiectural vision become breathtaking reality at every turn of the road. The MENA (Middle East and North Africa) weekend has begun and my first week of this project here has exceeded expectations. Time to catch breath now and to catch up on your journals too!
