Wood it be dry?

My husband's main domestic preoccupation in recent weeks has been wood. Lots of wood from trees chopped down this year is drying in the back yard, but we've been running on deliveries for this year. To add to the excitement, he was given a hydrometer for Christmas so every piece is tested to make sure it is below 20% water. The last delivery, tested after paying for it, was 25% and up. A new supplier was chosen and fingers crossed. But oh happy day, this load tests under 20% so we're all happy. And very warm.
