Hello There!

Over the last ten years or so,  I've been learning about kids - the neuroscience of the way a baby's brain develops, attachment theory, good parenting, the importance of the early years and all sorts of other things related to children like physical literacy.

This afternoon I went across the road to catch up with some neighbours and their nearly one year old son.  The parents of this delightful little boy make excellent parenting look effortless.  Everything was fantastic - textbook great communication, allowing small risks, much play and, most important of all, love without conditions or boundaries.  I was grateful to share their company.  And I got a blip!
