Rowntree Macks

Tonight I was taken back years to my younger years. Great railway journeys visited Halifax and the history of the old Rowntree Mackintoshes now Nestle.
One of the few pleasant memories I have of Halifax is the smell of the orange creams they made as I walked past the Queens Road factory. The ladies sometimes handed me some through the window.
A family friend used to bring me big bags of mis-shapes : p
