Delicate Fortress

Hang a wasp from the cobweb of life.
Rush on to the future that is unknown.
Give of yourself nothing but your heart.
Descend from your high pedestal to challenge the lowlifes
Who are merely your own toes wiggling for freedom
From the crushing confines of those tight black shoes.
Breathe the polluted air of eternity before it dies.
Take in the darkest shadows before the light overtakes your horizons.
Gorge your stomach on the desperation of your lovers.
Navigate through the troughs of unwanted refuse
That dominate the landscapes of our world
Which is dying because of our blindness.
Just keep on ignoring the contamination of humanity.
Fill the land with trash and toxic goo before it eats you alive.
The place you call home is only a doomed planet awash with junk
