Not the Northern Lights
Was up against it today - a lot to organise before a long weekend away but I think I did the job.
Back home and more organising of gear and food and everything else we'll need for a long weekend in the Lakes - apparently it might snow! We've got some good mountain walks set up and all the better if there's some snow :o)
The lodges are cosy with decking that looks out onto the hillsides with deer and so on; oh I can't wait!!!
By 9pm I was done packing and apparently there was a chance we might get to see the Northern Lights tonight, so I headed up to the moor. For a minute I thought they might actually happen but it was light pollution.
Never mind - it was good to get out and do a bit of night photography again.
So have a great weekend Blippers - I'll probably be catching up on Monday as based on past experience, the wifi at the lodges is woeful. But I'm kind of glad - I really need a break. Not from blipping - blip keeps me sane! But from being online. I might even find my mobile doesn't work :o)
Finally - thanks for the response for yesterday's rainbow and again to the new subs, I'm sorry I haven't said hello to all of you. If you are a new sub you'll soon get bored of me going on and on and on about how busy I am... But I am grateful and flattered that you've stopped by and I will try and return the compliment as soon as I can.
