A Winter's Day

This is the kind of mid-winter day I like.

Got the chance to head out at lunchtime, which gave me the opportunity to get a walk and to take some pictures. Given that I have been blipping night time scenes all week it was great to be out with the camera during the day.

This is a view of the Scottish Parliament taken from just next to Queen's Drive and Horse Wynd, which is the road that separates the Parliament from the Palace (The Palace of Holyrood House).
