Eastbourne Architecture

Eastbourne is more fortunate than many seaside towns; the seafront still retains much of it's elegant style.

Today, with glorious sunshine illuminating the buildings facing the sea, and clear blue sky behind, the quality of the architecture was a treat to see.

I was struck by this contrasting view and wondered what the planners were thinking back in the 60s.
