I see no ships...
Another London day for me today. Office bound, admin, development meetings, a few laughs and some business type discussions had. I ate at Mirabell, our favourite sandwich outlet in Hammersmith Road. Very few photo opportunities in the big smoke today so opted for a St.Leonards shot again and it didn't fail to disappoint.
The picture is the beautifully lit stern of Marine Court. Why 'stern' you ask? Because Marine Court is a Boat. A big boat. Well, ok, a ship!
I titled today 'I see no ships' because, from where I was standing, it's not obvious that you can see one or any. But look closer at the shape of the building or, for an even better experience, go a quarter mile out to sea and look back. What becomes clear is that Marine Court is not like any other apartment block. It's entirely shaped like a 1930's-style Art Deco cruise ship and it's beautiful in it's entirety: I just captured a very small part of it.
