Snail mail

For all the benefits of technology; ease of communication, speed of reply, images and links, I still love getting snail mail. I've had penpals on/off since 2000, when my best friend moved away. No Facebook and only basic mobiles in those days so we made do with pen and paper! Today I received a letter from a new-old penpal, a lady I've known online through Livejournal for many years but who I've only just started writing to. I won't lie - this letter made my day!
