Through the Trees

What a difference a day makes!! Gone the high winds, gone the cold and at last a crisp, dry morning, a blue clear sky and the mildest of frosts.

I had a day off today, not that there was time for pleasure, I was at university all day not actually leaving the library until just before 7 tonight, it made for a very very long and very draining day. This was a chance shot this morning, a beautiful little Robin who often serenades me, I have not heard him for a week or so given the stormy weather but today he seemed enthusiastic as he sang out cheerfully, I am sure glad of the respite in the weather.

Periodic texts from my friend punctuated my day, reassuring and comforting and very welcoming I will apologise tomorrow far Iam certain all I did was bemoan my loathing for the course and for being at that place today when really where I wanted to be was with them, walking by our river allowing our cares to float away like the song of my feathered friend in today's shot, sadly wishful thinking for now!!

I hope you enjoy my return to the birds, a little chap that brought a little cheer and a smile ahead of my day. He made me smile and I hope he raises a smile with you too... Really beautiful if viewed large I think
