Martin Schoeller - ISH?

I've been fascinated by Martin Schoeller's portraits for a while now and I thought it was about time I gave it a try.

The big issue is that we had no strip lights, which is how (I think) he gets the catch light effect in the eyes.

So I had to do a bit of ghetto DIY - which involved taping black rubbish bags over shoot through umbrellas.

Yeah it took an hour, but thats ok!

Not bad for a first try if I may say so myself!

I didn't realise how much I missed the problem solving that goes with replicating lighting!

Went for a mostly run today - I think running/walking was an even split this time!

Yeah! :D
