Storm damage

The ravages of the stormy weather are all too evident on my island. This boat has been halved and was apparently from Kilchatten Bay on the Isle of Bute!! It has ended up near Fintry Bay across the water!!
I drove over mounds of tangled seaweed and small sand dunes as I took the long route from the slip back to Millport. It was so sad to see and quite terrifying to consider ... the sea can so easily reclaim the shore, the roads and farmland in a very short period of time, and all we can do is watch!
The sea wall in the town has been breached, with large bricks and rocks lying on the far side of the road. Seaweed, rope, plastic buckets, mangled remnants of discarded junk lie everywhere - the tide now refusing to retrieve it all!
I have no doubt there will also be treasures within but I'm back to work and daylight is not on my side!!
