Fishing Alone?

Because it was such a beautiful evening I went for a walk along the beach ( Or stones) at Patiti Point and found a fishing rod just stuck into the stones, just waiting to catch a fish.
It's owner appeared as I was walking back to the car, just as well he did not get a bite!
