The Morning After

This is to show Nanou the Australian custom.

The tooth fairy comes to collect the tooth, from either under the child's pillow (my family's custom) or from a glass of water (my husband's)

Letter to the fairy not obligatory!

Whichever way it's done a coin is left in exchange for the tooth, but pay rates vary considerably from house to house.
