Has this been here longer than the OU

This mailbox is at the back of Walton Hall under an area we call "The Wind Tunnel" It is still used but wondered how old is really is?

Was it installed from somewhere else or is it the original added to Walton Hall estate years ago? The GR on the front suggest made by WT Allen during the reign of King George VI.

This would make it probably between 1930 -1953
