going postal

after seeing some jaw-droppingly amazing work byKim Rugg, i thought i'd try it out myself.

...apparently the UK Post Office processes mail by automation, and the postage stamps are "read" by a machine that can tell if there's enough of the right pigments on an envelope for it to be satisfied that a genuine stamp and correct value of postage has been used.

so...i'm going out now to post this to myself. let's see if it works ?????
