GOOD ADVICE

We see these guinea fowl on our walk every morning and I am always enchanted by all the tricks they get up to, to divert our attention from the little chicks. Raucous calling, running just ahead of you while the chicks hide or staring with a beady eye and challenging you! The chicks disappear in a trice.
This morning there was a cat hanging around and the guinea fowl kept very close to the cat daring it to step closer while the chicks hid in a thicket.
Caring for the young seems to be a family duty.
