How's the soup?

Katherine collected some chestnuts at the weekend and asked me to make chestnut soup. "oh please it's my favourite". I had to point out that six teeny chestnuts wouldn't make much soup, so she cracked on and made it herself.

I should also add that we don't eat a lot of chestnut soup. I've made it twice. Once successfully, second time best forgotten.
