Day Of The Recorder

International Day Of The Recorder today.

I had no blip, but a few recorders in a drawer... and now I have a bad blip! :-)

My favorite recorder is the big one: an alto/treble recorder.

The soprano with the plastic mouthpiece is one I bought for the daughter when she learned how to play it.
She has taught herself how to play the ukulele lately and for Christmas I bought her the 440-page-songbook with the most crazy songs (the one in the blip) with lyrics and guitar chords to keep her busy. She took singing lessons the last four years and its a bit easier to sing to the ukulele than to the recorder...
