Smoke Trail

Having missed the 4.00pm daylight deadline I needed to create my blip inside using artificial light. I decided that I would have another go at doing smoke trails. However, it is so long since I have done one that I have forgotten parts of the technique I used to get lovely clear outlines to the billowing smoke. Basically I was using too wide an aperture and as smoke wafts this way and that, keeping a sharp focus on it is almost impossible without a really wide depth of field and f5.6 –f8 just does not allow for much movement and billowing. So the image I have posted has had to be worked on in photoshop. Next time I will remember to look back at what settings I was using previously.
