it's a bit difficult not to get your feet wet visiting Oxford these days, large areas of the city have been flooded - a pretty much annual occurrence. Many homes are underwater, it must be heart-breaking.

This is a dry bit on my trek across town to find a working bus. It's Queen's Lane, which is a medieval alley, winding behind the colleges - feels slightly rabbit hole like, I always wonder where I'll end up. That's All Souls College peeking over the top of the wall. Immediately after I took this photo, a man in a tweed cape walked by.

I took this with my Kindle, which only has a front facing camera, so quite pleased that I got something other than my nostrils in shot.
