Last Meal

Leaving day today, so it was only right to pay tribute to our amazing cooking facilities. We've rustled up some true camping culinary delights on our wee burners this past week.

I'm going to be wanting to come back up here very soon. Too many things to do and not enough time on this trip.

Last night in amongst the sounds of waves and morepork, I even heard a kiwi call. Fantastic!

The kids have had a marvellous time, there's been plenty of playmates for them here, and they've had free reign to explore.

We stopped in at my aunt's place on the way home. Then got caught in a major amount of traffic jam just as we headed past Albany. Damn you Auckland and your stupid traffic! What should have taken us 1 hour, took us 2.5 hours.

Still, I'm feeling very relaxed. I think we need to go bush more often!
