another beach sunset

Owenahincha beach this time.

A wet start but a brighter afternoon. It was nice to get out into the garden for a while. Things are later than last year, there's no sign of cornus mas flowering yet, witchhazel is just getting started, and the first snowdrops are still only showing white bud tips.

The days are lengthening though and there is time to get more done and still get down to a beach to see the sunset. It was really peaceful and bright there and the sea was white and foaming.
There is a new look to the cliffs, scoured clean of all vegetation and soil and new strata revealed.
