Green And Pleasant Queensland

Took a short trip to Montville this morning, 15 minutes' drive from Maleny and stopped at this lookout point. You can see down to the Sunshine Coast.

Even better, the wet days we've been having for the past few days have restored the green to this lovely countryside. This part of Queensland looks so similar to parts of the UK - until you look more closely at the varieties of trees and shrubs that grow here; most of them are definitely sub-tropical.
