Doha Days

A rainy Sunday Saturday. I thought it was quiet on my compound yesterday because of the Holy Day. The relentless rain today seems to have made it even quieter! The Walmart Local on the compound is doing a roaring trade in home deliveries of croissants and papers on ancient bicycles and tricycles, with their Indian riders holding onto umbrellas to keep dry. This is the view from my house front door. I am reliably informed that these days are few and far between and it is bad luck that they fall over the weekend!
