Caught

Had a very busy day cleaning this house, and then the extended family came over tonight for pizza.

Maya had an allergic reaction to the pizza she ate - it turns out they use pesto in their Margherita pizza sauce and Maya is allergic to some tree nuts (now we know pine nuts included). It was awful. She was incredibly sick almost immediately...it so traumatic. She's ok now. Scott called the pizza place - they advertise "may contain traces of nuts" on their menu, but we were a little disappointed in that warning, when pesto is definitely, and not maybe, one of the ingredients. It should read "contains nuts".

Anyways, lesson learned. From now on, we ask what's in the sauce.
