rose in winter

a beautiful but freezing cold day. went hunting around the garden to find a blip, i quite like this. apart from my kids, i feel like i'm more attracted to decaying things to take pictures of - rusty gates, chipping paint work, dying flowers. i wonder if there's something freudian in that?!
