Colourful Character

I think that is the female of the species, although it says in my bird book, that there isn't much difference between the male and the female. Why they call this little bird common, beats me. He or she, is a little stunner. What a wonderful sunny day it has been today, although i haven't been very far. While i went to the gym, J went to the hobby shop. He has spent most of this afternoon in the dining room, making a station building. I haven't heard a peep out of him. The forecast is for a frosty night so stay nice and warm, and sleep tight.
