First snow - finally

The first snow was quite late this winter. We got it this afternoon!

It's very delicate and light. But it's finally here. As we took the dogs for their walk this morning and they had been already in our backyard and knew it wasn't wet anymore, they were so excited! They were jumping and barking mad as it seemed to take us humans forever to get our gear on. They were so happy! And as I was just now in our backyard taking pictures, they were running around enjoying life like they haven't for a while. (2/3 of our dogs don't like rain or even getting their paws wet.) So happy times for the dogs too! No more wet walks and stupid washes after the walks.

January brings the snow, makes our feet and fingers glow.
