#10 - BlipBigYear 2014

Rock Sandpiper, Calidris ptilocnemis

A and C are up from the Bay Area to visit for a couple days and I've been taking them to my favorite spots. Today we went to the north spit jetty and found the mightiest waves I may have ever seen in the mouth of Humboldt Bay. Also we caught glimpses of two Rock Sandpipers, which are only around in winter and I haven't seen in almost two years.
